Space is one of the documentary TV programs produced by BBC. I chose the DVD version for $145 as the VCD version already cost $115. The computer graphic is excellent and enjoyable. The six episodes use easy understanding language to explain the hardest Physics to the audience. 3 hours of enjoyment. Recommend.

My PowerBook
I have bought a 12-inch Apple Power Book from Ultimate PC & Mac Gallery. It is a second hand stuff with G4 867MHz, OS X, 256MB ram, 40G HD. The price is good when compare to the condition. I might install the air-port, upgrade the ram later.
I also bought this so that the PowerBook can share the files of my PC and go to the internet.

Canon EOS 30V
Canon has launched a new film SLR camera EOS 30V into the market silently. The price is around HK$3,200. The EOS 30V is almost the same as EOS 30 with faster AF, support E-TTL II, and the finishing is more refine.
I observed only Citicall display this new camera, not Broadway nor "Double Shing".
To me, EOS 30 already my dream camera with the price to performance.

Yuk Man's quit

Hiker in danger
From today TV news a hiker was kidnapped in Pok Fu Lam for over 16 hours. He cried for help and saved by the morning walkers this morning when the kidnaappers went to the nearby ATM to take cash from the victim's account. Two suspects were caught, and over HK$60,000 was drawn from the victim's account.
This kind of robbery occur 3-4 times in this 2 months and I feel that it is too much. It hesitates me from hiking alone or in remote area. Actually, Pok Fu Lam is a family trail that is 15 min. walk from the main road. Every weekend and sunday, you can see lot of families and people walk around that make you feel like in the shopping mall.
